With Food and Gladness

It is a lovely July morning. I sit near the window, and the cool breeze tickles my arms. I can see my beautiful herd of Icelandic sheep resting quietly in a nearby paddock-- the peacefulness occasionally interrupted as a lamb calls for its missing mother,  who is lying only a few feet away, ruminating.

And that is what this blog shall be: a few minutes of rest from the busyness that our life has become in this quest to produce quality food for our family and now for others, a few moments to ruminate on these great blessings with which He has blessed us.

"Yet he did not leave himself without witness, for he did good by giving you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness.” Acts 14:17
